On Sunday November 5th, 2017, the 13th ParaVolley Europe General Assembly elected a new Board of Directors, which has something of a new look.
The new president Branko Mihorko from Slovenia gained as many votes as federations in attendance. Mr. Mihorko has a long and varied background in sitting volleyball and other Para-sports and has been the PVE Vice President. Mr. Mihorko automatically joins the World ParaVolley Board as the representative from Europe.
The former President, Mr. Toralv Thorkildsen who has held the position for the last 10 years, did not re-nominate for the Presidency.
The General Assembly was conducted in the presence of Barry Couzner, World ParaVolley President and Ratko Kovacic, European Paralympic Committee President.
