    World ParaVolley is accepting expressions of interest (EOI) for the volunteer role of team leader, general manager, and/or regular member of the WPV Awards Committee.

    The WPV Awards Committee oversees and manages the nomination and confirmation process for the Life Member, distinguished merit and other award recognitions approved by the Board and presented on World ParaVolley Day annually.

    Interested persons will be required to participate actively in the planning of committee meetings, vetting of nominations received, collection of nominating materials (e.g., application, recommendation letters, photos, etc.) and all members of WPV leadership groups are subject to eligibility verification with the WPV Safeguarding Integrity Commission (SIC).

  • Anti-Doping

    World ParaVolley is accepting expressions of interest (EOI) for the volunteer roles of:

    ANTI-DOPING TEAM LEADER

    The Team Leader of the Anti-Doping Commission is responsible for anti-doping matters relating to the disciplines of World ParaVolley and the effective functioning of the Commission. The main focus of this position is to ensure compliance with the WADA Anti-Doping Code. This is a volunteer position that requires a significant time commitment.

    ANTI-DOPING TESTING MANAGER

    The Testing & Results Manager role contributes to WPV’s antidoping program by protecting clean sport and the integrity of athletes by developing and managing effective testing programs that are compliant with the World Anti-doping Code and standards & World ParaVolley Anti-Doping Rules, and notifying TL re AAFs, ATFs, APFs.

    ANTI-DOPING EDUCATION MANAGER

    The Education Manager’s role contributes to World ParaVolley’s Anti-Doping program by providing an education plan/program to enable athletes, their support personnel, and other target groups to make informed decisions and act in accordance with anti-doping rules and the values of clean sport.

    TUE MANAGER

    The Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) Manager role contributes to the WPV anti-doping program by supporting the protection of athletes’ health through the management of a TUE program that allows athletes to apply for a TUE which is fairly reviewed and processed in line with the relevant WPV rules.
