The WORLD PARAVOLLEY FOUNDATION was established as an independent 501(c)(3) (USA) non-profit charitable organization to be totally dedicated to fundraising activities to improve access to competitive volleyball for athletes with physical impairments and to support development projects that improve opportunities for Para Athletes to develop as individuals.

By partnering with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) for the Paralympic Games, the World ParaVolley Foundation is striving to deliver programs to allow persons with physical impairments to reach their potential regardless of their individual backgrounds or resources.

The World ParaVolley Foundation is a global organization developing sport activities for people with a physical impairment as a tool for changing lives, contributing to equity for the disabled, developing an inclusive society, and inspiring the physically impaired to be role models in their community and becoming leaders of tomorrow.

The World ParaVolley Foundation was formed to assist World ParaVolley to grow the ParaVolley movement and to achieve the goal of creating an inclusive and diverse society through having Para Athletes seen in their communities as athletes and role models – not as ‘victims’.
