Today, 7 July 2025, marks a historic moment: the first ever World Volleyball Day is officially here! This global celebration, powered by each and every one of you across the Global Volleyball Movement, commemorates the first public demonstration of the sport by William G. Morgan on 7 July in 1895.

July 7, 2025, will mark the day that volleyball fans worldwide will unite to celebrate the sport we love. From beaches and courts to parks and playgrounds, let’s unite with FIVB and come together to showcase how volleyball inspires, unites, and empowers communities everywhere.
