2023 – The 2023 World ParaVolley Day is celebrated by honouring two individuals for their outstanding achievements and 10 individuals for their distinguished service.

 

 

 

 

2022 – The 2022 World ParaVolley Day is celebrated by bestowing Honorary Life Membership to 12 of the pioneers who set the foundation for the future development and sustainability of World ParaVolley. WPV is also honouring individuals for their outstanding achievements and distinguished service.

 

 

 

 

2021 – The 2021 World ParaVolley Day is celebrated by honouring the people who have made a great influence in standing volleyball. Read more

 

 

 

 

2020 – The celebration of the International World ParaVolley Day commemorates the official start of the International Federation. On 24 April 1981, World ParaVolley was formally created at a meeting in Bonn, Germany on the occasion of the European Sitting Volleyball Championships, thus the WPV Board of Directors approved it to be celebrated annually on 24 April. The year 2020 marks the four decades of participation of sitting volleyball in the Paralympics and World ParaVolley will celebrate the occasion by recognising individual for their contribution to sitting volleyball.
