World ParaVolley is proud to announce that applications are officially open for the 2026 Mentoring Programme – the final and most prestigious step in the coach education pathway.
This year-long initiative gives ambitious sitting volleyball coaches the unique opportunity to work one-on-one with world-renowned mentors, gaining targeted support in areas of their choice from the WPV Elite Coaching Standards while also contributing to the global growth of the sport.
The programme features:
- A 12-month structure across four phases: initiation, development, practical implementation, and certification.
- Exclusive mentor-led webinars and one-to-one targeted sessions.
- Opportunities for real-time feedback during training and competitions (virtual or in person).
- The WPV Gold Coaching Certificate of Achievement upon successful completion.
Who can apply for 2026?
- Coaches aged 21 or over.
- Those with at least five years of national team coaching experience.
- Holders of the WPV Level 2 Coaching Sitting Volleyball qualification, OR
- Coaches confirmed as attending either the Kigali or Ljubljana Level 2 course schedule for later this year
Up to 12 coaches worldwide will be selected from those who apply for 2026 and each will then be paired with one of the confirmed mentors for this inaugural programme.
Cost: €300 WPV registration fee
