Help Us Grow the Game: Translators Needed for VolleySLIDE!

World ParaVolley is on a mission to make sitting volleyball accessible to everyone, everywhere. One of the most powerful tools we have to achieve this is VolleySLIDE — our global education and awareness resource that helps coaches, teachers, players, and supporters understand and promote sitting volleyball in their communities.

But right now, language is holding us back.

VolleySLIDE materials are already available in a handful of languages — and we know that sitting volleyball reaches far beyond those borders. To truly make our sport global, we need your help.

We’re calling for volunteer translators!

If you speak English and another language fluently, you can make a real difference by helping us translate VolleySLIDE resources and help:

  • Coaches deliver better training in their local language
  • Schools introduce more inclusive volleyball programs
  • Communities learn more about para-sport and inclusion
  • New players discover sitting volleyball for the very first time

Every translation gives more possibilities

You don’t need to be a professional translator — just passionate, careful, and committed to helping others understand this incredible sport. Whether you can translate a single document or full resource, every contribution counts.

How to get involved

  1. Visit www.worldparavolley.org/volleyslide to see what we already have
  2. E-mail volleyslide@worldparavolley.org to introduce yourself
  3. Tell us which language(s) you would be happy to translate
  4. Join a growing global network of volunteers spreading the message of ParaVolley and inclusion through sport

Your words can break down barriers and open doors — helping people around the world see themselves in our sport. Join us today, and help bring VolleySLIDE to every language and every community around the globe.
