Have you completed a World ParaVolley (or WOVD) certified coaching course prior to the re-launch of the new hybrid courses earlier this year? If so, we want to hear from you!
The Coaches Commission are working relentlessly to establish a community for coaches from across the globe and welcome anyone who has qualified as a World ParaVolley coach previously to also benefit from the growing ecosystem and engage in the movement.
Re-certifiying is the process of registering onto our e-learning system, being enrolled onto the new Level 1 (Part A – e-learning) and working through the content (excluding the Self Study assignments). Coaches will not need to attend a Level 1 practical session.
All coaches who re-certify will get:
- Free access to the new Level 1 Coaching e-learning (part A) to work through and refresh their coaching knowledge at their own pace – receiving an updated certificate once complete
- Confirmation of their eligibility to start the World ParaVolley Level 2 course
- Regular updates and announcements about upcoming practical courses and other professional development opportunities
- Membership to our ‘Level 1 Coaches Hub’ on e-ParaVolley – an online community where coaches can connect with peers, share ideas, and stay current in ParaVolley coaching
This will also help us in maintaining an accurate record of certified coaches and so enable us to better identify suitable qualified individuals for future training opportunities, tailored updates, and professional development initiatives.
We have e-mailed out to all coaches who are on our course completion database asking for them to migrate them onto the new system and coach education pathway.

Simply reply to the e-mail once you have an account on e-ParaVolley (https://elearning.worldparavolley.org/) and we will enroll you onto the Level 1 course (Part A) – granting you full access, as well as the Level 1 Coaches Hub.
IF you are a qualified coach BUT you did not receive this e-mail…
You can still join the movement by:
- E-mailing a copy of your Level 1 Coaching Course certificate as proof of completion to coaches@worldparavolley.org making sure your name and the course details that you attended are clearly visible.
- Create an account on e-ParaVolley (https://elearning.worldparavolley.org/) using your e-mail address you contacted us on and we will enrol you onto the Level 1 course (Part A) – granting you full access, as well as the Level 1 Coaches Hub.
Anyone who starts their re-certification by 31st May will also be eligible to enjoy and participate in the Webinar Series this July free of charge.
