
Rwanda has been announced as the first country in Africa to host the new Level 1 Coaching Practical, with coaches from across the continent, and wider world, set to arrive at the end of October.
Aimed at club coaches and national team assistants, this hands-on “Part B” session serves as the final stage of the initial WPV Coach Education Pathway, offering an engaging environment to sharpen technical skills and apply practical knowledge.
Open to all who complete the online “Part A” by October 1, 2025, the course will be delivered in English and is designed to build on the foundational learning with real-world coaching application.
COURSE DATES
- Arrival: 28th October 2025 (by 18:00 local)
- Course Delivery Days: 29th & 30th October
- Departure: 30th October after 18:00 local (additional cost if flight requires candidate to stay until 30th October)
COURSE FEE
- 220 USD to Rwandan Paralympic Committee
This fee covers tuition, accommodation (2 nights), food/drink and local transportation. Candidates are responsible for their own international travel, including entry visa costs (if applicable). - Those who have not yet started their Part A e-learning will also need to pay the 100 EUR Course Registration Fee to World ParaVolley.

WHO SHOULD SIGN-UP
- Active sitting volleyball coaches looking to gain official certification and practical experience
- Aspiring coaches eager to expand their skillset and advance their game
- Coaches who meet the pre-requisites for Level 1 and can get the e-learning completed by the deadline of 01st October (L1 application form included here), OR, those who have already completed Part A
- Coaches who are comfortable learning in an environment where English is the dominant language

Those who sign-up but do not complete the required e-learning element can still attend but will not be eligible to receive their diploma certificate until the e-learning is finished.
