The World ParaVolley Level 1 Coaching Qualification is designed for club coaches and national team assistants eager to extend their technical and tactical knowledge of sitting volleyball. This course equips coaches with the essential skills to develop players, create engaging training sessions, increase the level of their team and promote the sport’s growth at all levels.

– How to set-up an appropriate and safe training environment
– The player eligibility requirements and talent ID (suitability and classification)
– How to support athletes in developing a performance life style
– The key technical points for a range of skills and bank of drills to develop them
– A selection of team systems and how to build towards them
– How athletes learn and coaching philosophies which support this

Completion of VolleySLIDE e-learning, or

Hold a valid national Level 1 Coaching Volleyball qualification, or

Hold a valid FIVB Level 1 or 2 Coaching Volleyball qualification

- Target Tutor/Participant ratio: 1 to 14
- Assessment: Continuous – e-learning knowledge checks, portfolio/self study tasks, active participation in sessions & activities / training session planning and observation

- Time limit: must complete within 24 months of registration
