Three World ParaVolley nominees join Women in Para Sport Leadership Programme 2026

World ParaVolley has nominated Dee Wauchope, Isabelle Collot and Anna Tomas to participate in the APSO Women in Para Sport Leadership Programme 2026, bringing together three experienced members of the ParaVolley community whose work spans competition management, communications and international sports media.

The programme is designed for women currently working in leadership positions or aspiring to leadership roles within national and international Para sport organisations. It aims to strengthen communication, networking and leadership skills, build self-confidence, and equip participants to navigate organisational and political environments.

Wauchope, Collot and Tomas each bring a different perspective to the programme, shaped by years of involvement in ParaVolley and the wider volleyball community.

Dee Wauchope is Assistant Competitions Director responsible for Club Competitions at ParaVolley Europe and a World ParaVolley Level 2 accredited Technical Official, currently working towards Level 3.

Her involvement in volleyball stretches back several decades and across numerous areas of the sport, including playing, refereeing, tutoring and event management. That breadth of experience has given her an understanding of the sport from both on and off the court, while her passion for volleyball continues to drive her desire to make a positive difference for the people involved in it.

Isabelle Collot is Communication Director for ParaVolley Europe, where she leads the European federation’s strategic communications, digital media and institutional messaging across competitions and governance initiatives.

A familiar presence at ParaVolley events over many years, Collot has developed a strong connection with the sport and its community. Alongside her work in communications, she is a passionate advocate for ParaVolley, athlete and grassroots engagement, and greater female representation across sport.

Anna Tomas is a sports information specialist and former World ParaVolley Communications Manager who has remained closely involved with the federation as a dedicated Media Delegate.

Her ParaVolley experience includes serving at Paralympic Games, World Championships, Zonal Championships and Beach ParaVolley events. Tomas also brings more than 20 years of experience covering indoor and beach volleyball events for the FIVB.

Throughout that career, she has seen first-hand the importance of communication in building sporting communities and firmly believes that strong relationships between member federations, the media, supporters and fans are fundamental to ParaVolley’s continued development.

The Women in Para Sport Leadership Programme consists of four live online coaching sessions and will conclude with small-group capstone sessions, giving participants the opportunity to put their learning into practice and reflect on their development alongside peers from across the Para sport movement.

The programme will be delivered by Eva Pasquier and Jules McGeever from EqualCareers, who have extensive experience designing and delivering leadership programmes tailored to the sports sector across different regions of the world.

Through the nominations of Wauchope, Collot and Tomas, World ParaVolley is supporting three women already contributing their expertise across different areas of the sport as they continue to develop their leadership skills and expand the impact of their work within the ParaVolley community.
