The World ParaVolley Sport Department is seeking Expressions of Interest to support Sitting Volleyball and Standing Volleyball
To support the recently announced re-structuring of the World ParaVolley Sport Department, World ParaVolley is seeking Expressions of Interests (EOIs) from people with a passion for ParaVolley to assist the Sport Department in the following two volunteer positions:
- Team Leader, Sitting Volleyball Event Commission (Indoor and Beach)
- Team Leader, Standing Volleyball Event Commission (Beach and Indoor)
These Team Leaders are responsible for providing leadership and advice on the planning, organisation, delivery, and evaluation of World ParaVolley events, ensuring consistent event standards across ParaVolley disciplines and formats.
The positions support Local Organising Committees (LOCs) throughout the event life cycle and coordinate event-related activities with relevant World ParaVolley Commissions and officials.

If you would like to assist World ParaVolley in these areas, please send an Expression of Interest (approximately one page) and your CV to sportdirector@worldparavolley.org and generalmanager@worldparavolley.org by Friday 11 September 2026, outlining:
- your experience, skills and background that you would bring to these roles;
- what challenges and opportunities you see for sitting volleyball and / or standing volleyball;
- what you hope to achieve by taking on one of these roles; and
- how much time you might be able to contribute.
We also encourage people from outside of the World ParaVolley ‘family’ to consider applying for these roles, as you will bring new ideas from different sports or our sister disciplines of Volleyball and Beach Volleyball.
