The World ParaVolley Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Dr. Janko Plešnik as Team Leader of the World ParaVolley Referee Commission.

Janko comes into the role with a vast paravolley background, having started his involvement in 1992 in Slovenia at a European club tournament.  From that beginning, until the present day, Janko has been involved in many capacities – Referee, Referee Delegate, Referee Observer, Course Tutor, and at many events – multiple Paralympic Games, World Championships, Zonal Championships, Regional Paralympic Games…  He has also served on a plethora of World ParaVolley and ParaVolley Europe Committees and Commissions.  The list is vast!

Being appointed a Lead of VRC WPV is a great honour for me and at the same time a great responsibility. I believe that with a strong and united team we will be able to meet all challenges and carry out our mission with responsibility and dedication – in the service of all referees and the WPV family.
