About the Competition

Turnstone Center, in partnership with World ParaVolley (WPV), Visit Fort Wayne, and the City of Fort Wayne, will host the 2025 WPV Sitting Volleyball World Cup from October 12–18, 2025. This prestigious international event will bring nearly 500 athletes, officials, and delegates from over 20 countries to northeast Indiana. It will mark the first time the Sitting Volleyball World Cup is hosted in the United States.

The 2025 WPV Sitting Volleyball World Cup features both men’s and women’s divisions, with up to 16 national teams for both men’s and women’s divisions competing at Turnstone’s state-of-the-art Plassman Athletic Center. This World Cup will be a key pathway for international teams and athletes preparing for the LA28 Paralympic Games.

THE VENUE – PLASSMAN ATHLETIC CENTER

The Plassman Athletic Center, a premier adaptive sports facility located within the Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is proud to host this sitting volleyball competition. As one of only eleven Paralympic training sites in the United States, the Plassman Athletic Center offers a world-class, universally designed environment perfectly suited for high-level adaptive athletic events. Athletes will compete on the center’s state-of-the-art courts within the expansive 75,000-square-foot fieldhouse, which provides ample space and accessible amenities to ensure an optimal experience for all participants and spectators.
