
Heidi has been competing in sitting volleyball since 2013 for Team Canada. Heidi is a 3x Paralympian, with consecutive appearances in Rio 2016, Tokyo 2021, and Paris 2024 where her and her team won bronze, Canada’s first Paralympic sitting volleyball medal.
Heidi just completed her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science. Her interest in policy studies has led to involvement in sport governance. Heidi has been the global representative on the WPV Athletes Commission since 2022. She proudly brings the voices and perspectives of WPV’s athletes to the spaces where decisions are made. Heidi’s passion for and belief in para volleyball fuels her commitment to representing her fellow athletes well. Heidi believes that para volleyball is just scratching the surface of its potential. There is immeasurable room for growth, and Heidi looks forward to being part of this work over the coming years.
