Key details for the Sitting Volleyball competition at the Lima 2027 Parapan American Games have now been confirmed. The tournament will run from 25 to 29 August 2027 and will feature 12 national teams, six men’s and six women’s, competing for Parapan American medals.
A Historic Milestone for Equity in the Sport
The confirmation marks a landmark moment for Sitting Volleyball in the Americas. This will be the first time in Parapan American Games history that the women’s competition features the same number of participating teams as the men’s, a reflection of the sport’s sustained growth across the continent and a significant step forward for gender parity in Para sport.
