Bangkok, Thailand, June 11, 2019 – Kazakhstan recorded their second win in the men’s tournament of the 2019 ParaVolley Asia Oceania Sitting Volleyball Championships at the Huamark Indoor Stadium on Tuesday.
After a straight-set win over Japan on Monday, Kazakhstan recorded a 3-0 (25-13, 25-11, 25-18) triumph against Cambodia.
The Central Asian team capitalised on their attack and block to intimidate their Southeast Asian rivals early on in the match. With consistency on their defence as well, the Kazakhs were able to edge their rivals easily in the first two sets.
By the third set, the Cambodians managed to get some good breaks but were not enough to overcome their rivals, who seized the straight-set finish at 25-18.
