Bangkok, Thailand, June 13, 2019 – Kazakhstan recorded a straight-set (25-17, 25-16, 25-15) win over hosts Thailand to bounce back from their earlier loss to China in the 2019 ParaVolley Asia Oceania Sitting Volleyball Championships at the Huamark Indoor Stadium on Thursday.
Kazakhstan opened with a strong performance against the hosts in the first set, dictating the tempo and denying the opposing side in making a significant run. They held a comfortable cushion before closing the set at 25-17.
In the second set, the Kazakhs applied more pressure to their opponents with a tougher block. By the middle of the set, they have already established their control and just worked on protecting their advantage until they reached the end of the set at 25-16.
The Thais showed better drive in the third frame, as they kept up with the pace of their rivals. Then the Kazakhs began to serve strong, giving pressure to the Thai defenders. The Kazakhs succeeded with the tactic and swept the Thais at 25-15.
