
Indonesia delivered a perfect day on court at the ASEAN Para Games Thailand 2025, collecting two victories on Day 3 of the men’s sitting volleyball competition, while Myanmar continued their unbeaten run with a hard-fought five-set win as the double round-robin tournament progressed in Nakhon Ratchasima.
Indonesia opened their Day 3 campaign in commanding fashion with a straight-sets victory over the Philippines, closing out a 3–0 (25–12, 25–13, 25–12) win. Indonesia controlled the tempo throughout the match, applying consistent pressure from the service line and limiting the Philippines’ attacking opportunities to secure their second victory of the competition.
Later in the day, Indonesia returned to the court to face hosts Thailand and produced another composed performance, taking the match 3–1 (25–23, 23–25, 26–24, 25–19). After trading closely contested sets early, Indonesia held firm in a decisive third set before pulling clear in the fourth to complete a significant double victory on the day.
Myanmar were also tested on Day 3 but maintained their perfect record with a dramatic five-set win over Thailand. After dropping the opening set, Myanmar responded strongly to take control of the match before Thailand forced a deciding set. Myanmar closed out the contest 3–2 (20–25, 25–15, 25–13, 18–25, 15–8), showing resilience and composure to remain unbeaten in the tournament.
After three days of play, Myanmar sit top of the standings with a 4–0 record. Indonesia moved into second place at 3–2 following their two wins on Day 3, while Thailand are third at 2–3. The Philippines remains fourth at 0–4 as the competition continues.
The men’s sitting volleyball competition at the ASEAN Para Games Thailand 2025 runs from 21–25 January in Nakhon Ratchasima, with teams continuing the double round-robin format ahead of the medal matches.
