Bangkok, Thailand, June 11, 2019 – China served their way to victory against Korea in the women’s tournament of the 2019 ParaVolley Asia Oceania Sitting Volleyball Championships at the Huamark Indoor Stadium on Tuesday.
Gao Wen Wen served 18 straight times to open the match, putting Korea in trouble early. Korea got some breather and the point as Gao’s serve went straight to the net, but the defending champions rallied to win the next seven points to secure the opening set 25-1.
China remained relentless and executed their game plan despite Korea showing better determination in the second set, but the former were just too strong and efficient to spark any significant run. The Chinese side took the second set 25-3.
As the crowd cheered on the Korean team, they responded with an improved score but their rivals still triumphed at 25-5.
