Bangkok, Thailand, June 10, 2019 – China ruled over Korea in the all-East Asian clash on the opening day of the 2019 ParaVolley Asia Oceania Sitting Volleyball Championships at Huamark Indoor Stadium on Monday.
China opened their Olympic qualification campaign with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-17) triumph against their regional rivals.
The Chinese outplayed the Koreans in the first set, but the latter had key offensive pushes in the second set that pulled them within striking range at 19-17. However, China retaliated intensely on the attack that secured them another set-win at 25-19.
China used the same strategy of orchestrating a strong attack from the onset that gave them the edge to power their way until the end and win at 25-17.
