China beat Japan for second time in Bangkok

Bangkok, Thailand, June 13, 2019 – China repeated their dominance against Japan in their second encounter in the women’s tournament of the 2019 ParaVolley Asia Oceania Sitting Volleyball Championships at the Huamark Indoor Stadium on Thursday.

The 2017 finalists met for the second time in the 2019 edition when the Chinese recorded another straight-set (25-10, 25-9, 25-11) win over the Japanese.

Reigning champions China opened the match with a 25-10 win as their hitters went straight into business by charging through the defence of their opponents. In the second set, Japan had no answer for China’s strong pace and strength on the attack, giving away an easy win at 25-9.

Despite better efforts on defence by the Japanese to hold off strong serves and spikes in the third set, China still prevailed 25-11 to complete the match sweep.
