China beat hosts Thailand in straight-set blitz

Bangkok, Thailand, June 11, 2019 – China defeated hosts Thailand 3-0 (25-12, 25-11, 25-22) in the men’s tournament of the 2019 ParaVolley Asia Oceania Sitting Volleyball Championships at the Huamark Indoor Stadium on Tuesday.

China’s Zhou Can Ming and Xu Zeng Bing operated their team’s offence and defence as they reduced the home team to scoring only less than half of their output in each set for easy wins in the first two sets at 25-12, 25-11.

In the third set, the Thai team showed a big fight and kept up with the Chinese team on offence, resulting to a deadlock at 11-all. The series of deadlocks continued until Zhou scored two aces that gave China a two-point cushion at 21-19. China retained the two-point edge until Xu hammered a spike that closed the match at 25-22.

China now have two wins in the tournament, following their straight-set win over Korea on Monday.
