World ParaVolley is taking an initiative to follow recommendations of the International Paralympic Committee and the World Health Organization in an effort to support the international sporting communities’ response to the spread of COVID-19.

In light of the current situation, World ParaVolley has postponed the second edition of the Beach ParaVolley World Championships Series which was scheduled to take place in Pingtan, China from 28 to 31 May.

World ParaVolley have commenced discussions with the organisers on the possibility of re-scheduling the Beach ParaVolley World Championships Series event in October 2020, with more information to come as soon as possible.

World ParaVolley deeply regrets this situation but following the recommendations by the authorities to face this global health issue is paramount for the safety of all our athletes, officials and member national federations.
