World ParaVolley (WPV) is excited to announce a brand-new series of targeted webinars this July, designed for coaches of sitting volleyball — but open to all who are interested in growing their knowledge of the sport and developing themselves.

This initiative, led by the WPV Coaches Commission, aims to deliver high-impact, real-world content that is aligned with WPV’s growth principles, research, and educational pathways.

For 2025, the series is particularly tailored for WPV qualified coaches working with national teams or established clubs, but is also relevant to grassroots coaches, players, team staff, students, or even fans of ParaVolley.  Any coach who holds a WPV Level 1 or Level 2 coaching certificate, or has completed Part A (theory/e-learning) of the recently launched new coaching courses, can access all of the webinars live at no cost.

What to Expect

The webinars will be hosted by renowned commentator and presenter Dave Rogers, bringing together world-class speakers and a community of passionate followers from around the globe.

Each session in the series will dive into strategically selected topics using practical examples and science-backed approaches. The structure includes a 25–30 minute presentation by a specialist, followed by a dynamic Q&A segment where participants can submit questions or topics for discussion in advance or live.

All webinars will take place at 20:00 UTC time on Thursdays through July, a time selected to enable as many people as possible to be able to follow from all over the globe.

Registration & Participation

Participants will be able to register if they wish to watch one, or all, of the webinars through the e-ParaVolley platform.  Here they will need to enrol in the “Webinar Series” area and sign up for the individual events that spike their interest.

This user-friendly system ensures attendees can manage their schedule, receive calendar reminders based on their own timezone, access the live or on-demand session, as well as auto generated translated subtitles.  A short knowledge check can also be taken after the event if attendees wish to get a WPV participation certificate.

• WPV Level 1 & 2 Coaches: FREE live webinar access with Q&A participation
• Non-Qualified Coaches/Others: €6 for live access with Q&A participation
• Certificate of Participation: €4 (optional, post-event knowledge check required)
