Egypt Men qualify for Tokyo 2020!

Egypt defeated Rwanda 3-0 (25-6, 25-11, 25-16) in the final of the Men’s ParaVolley Africa Sitting Volleyball Championships, winning the gold and also the ParaVolley Africa qualification spot for Tokyo 2020!

Algeria defeated Kenya for Bronze 3-1 (25-21, 20-25, 25-15, 27-25) and in the 5th/6th classification game Morocco defeated South Africa 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-18).

Final Standings:

Gold: Egypt
Silver: Rwanda
Bronze: Algeria
4th: Kenya
5th: Morocco
6th: South Africa

Rwanda Women qualify for Tokyo 2020!

The Rwanda Women Sitting Volleyball team beat Egypt 3-1 (22-25, 28-26, 25-15, 25-18) on the final of the ongoing 2019 Para Volley Africa Sitting Volleyball Championships in the evening. Dr. Mossad Rashad’s team suffered to defend their title against Egypt coming from behind as they had lost the first set (22-25). As from the beginning, the crowd kept trust for their team and the team couldn’t disappoint them by winning three sets and thereby lifting the trophy.

The bronze medal was won by Kenya.

Gold: Rwanda
Silver: Egypt
Bronze: Kenya
