On 12 January in the city of Hangzhou, China, the World ParaVolley President Barry Couzner (2nd from right) and the China Goalball Centre Director Lu Cailling (second from left) signed the Contract to conduct the first ever World Super 6 event for women in May, 2017. Present to witness the signing were Mr Wu from the Centre (left) and Mr Tu, Marketing Consultant of World ParaVolley (right).
Featuring USD$20,000 in prize-money, this is a new event to World ParaVolley and is open to invited teams which are ranked high in the World ParaVolley ranking system. The 6 participating teams will be confirmed within 2 weeks.
