
Sitting volleyball has been named the favourite sport in the Paralympic Sports World Cup after a vote by fans on the official Twitter page of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). The result was revealed on Thursday, May 21.
Sitting volleyball beat swimming with 89 per cent of the vote in the head-to-head final.

Sitting volleyball beat wheelchair fencing and badminton in the earlier rounds and garnered thousands of votes to defeat wheelchair basketball and football 5-a-side in the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds, respectively.
