World ParaVolley Board Meeting in Netherlands

The World ParaVolley Board is holding the first meeting of 2017 in the Netherlands this week.  On the table for consideration are the all-important Strategic Plan, Membership, Media & Communications, Beach Volleyball, Classification, Anti-Doping, HR and Development.

The major events in 2017 for the teams include the World Club Cup, the World Super 6 and the four Zone Championships – the latter being a qualification for the 2018 Sitting Volleyball World Championships to be held in the Netherlands.

This will be the only face-to-face meeting of the Board in 2017 – all other meetings are conducted electronically.

After the Board meeting that will conclude on 30 January, President Barry Couzner and experienced International Technical official, Maciej Chodzko-Zajko will conduct a 3-day Inspection Visit in the Netherlands for the 2018 Sitting Volleyball World Championships that will involve visiting several interested cities.
