Eight weeks ahead of one of World ParaVolley’s 2019 highlights, teams are already confirming their participation to the first-ever Beach World Series event.
The world is in for a spectacle as the tournament, set to be staged at the Longfengtou Beach in Pingtan, Fuzhou, China, hass seen eight men’s teams register. Representing Australia are Nicholas Kaiser, Nicholas Coburn, and Bradley Barclay; the German team is composed of Elmar Sommer, Torbien Schiewe, and Heiko Wiesenthal; Ghana will be represented by Emmanuel Gabah, James Acquah, and Tahiru Haruna; Abishek Aluwala, Sahir Ali Mallick, and Nareshyadav Ragula, meanwhile, are carrying India’s flag.
On the other hand, set to represent Kazakhstan are Bauyrzhan Urazaliyeb, Yerbolat Altayev, and Shahkrukh Sanvarl; the Polish team will feature Adam Stepien, Artur Wasowicz, and Rafal Wojtovic; Juraj Kusej, Martin Dubovsky, and Rudolf Makovino are represeting Slovakia; representing the United States, meanwhile, will be Chris Seilkop, Philip Newkirk, and Eric Duda.
World ParaVolley is expecting more teams to express their commitment to join, particularly in the women’s tournament, as the deadline for submission of forms gets extended.
The 2019 Pingtan Beach World Series is set to run on 9-12 May 2019 and will feature men, women, and mixed teams from all over the world.
Yucheng Seaview International Hotel has already been confirmed as the official hotel for the Pingtan Beach World Series Open.
Promoter Yiming Sports will shoulder all structure and technical costs for the tournament in partnership with the World ParaVolley.
