World ParaVolley is deeply saddened to share the news of Mike Hulett’s passing away earlier today.

Mike served as the Chair of ParaVolley Pan America for a number of years and sat on the Board of Directors for World ParaVolley as well.

Mike was the head coach of the USA Men’s Sitting Volleyball Team for several years in the 1990’s, leading the team to the 1996 and 2000 Paralympic Games.  He then went on to form the USA Women’s sitting volleyball program in 2003, and led the Women’s team to Paralympic medals in Athens 2004 (Bronze) and Beijing 2008 (Silver).

Mike was a leader in not only USA ParaVolley, but in all of Volleyball in the USA. Our sincere condolences go out to all his friends and family.
