Benno has been the World ParaVolley Treasurer since 2015, working closely with the General Manager to manage Federation financial matters.

Benno has been an International World ParaVolley referee since 2004, and has officiated at five World Championships and three Paralympic Games, among many, many other WPV and European competitions.

Benno is actively involved in both volleyball and paravolley in the Netherlands, winning multiple awards and certificates for his work as a referee, while also contributing in a variety of roles to national events and Nevobo commissions over the past 20 years.
