In his supporting statement for the nomination of Jonathan, President Barry Couzner OAM wrote:

I have known Jonathan Moore as a Technical Official since the London 2012 Paralympic Games when it became obvious that he was an exceptional event planner and manager.  His subsequent involvement in events specific to World ParaVolley has clearly demonstrated that, despite his relatively fewer years of event leadership, Jonathan Moore is one of the most effective Technical Delegates currently engaged by the IF due to his depth of knowledge, sense of commitment and attention to detail.  His bravery and leadership in dealing with several major issues at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games was clearly demonstrated. Jonathan Moore has been an outstanding international technical official for World ParaVolley as indicated by the success of the various competitions he has been involved in as a leader since 2018 in particular.
