Coach Tutors are fundamental to the development of all disciplines of ParaVolley. They provide a key service in the training and development of teachers, coaches, leaders, activators and volunteers in the sitting volleyball coach education pathway.
This pathway provides coaches with relevant specialised knowledge and skills needed to effectively develop athletes, including those with disabilities, ensuring that their training environments are competitive, progressive and accessible. By equipping coaches with the right tools and understanding elevates the overall quality of the sport, contributing to the continued growth of the sport.
Coach Tutors are the face of World ParaVolley to candidates and work with local organisers to organise and deliver the final face to face element of the Level 1 and Level 2 courses.
“Being a tutor for the first World ParaVolley Level 2 course was incredibly rewarding. Working with two excellent tutors, we formed a strong team, each bringing unique experience to the classroom and court. The pre-course tasks were essential in building solid theoretical knowledge, but it’s on the court where true coaching skills are tested. The positive feedback from students was really rewarding, and I look forward to seeing where they go next in their own coaching journeys.”
