Referee and Classification Courses completed in Tourcoing

The latest World ParaVolley Referee and Classification courses have been completed on the sidelines of the ParaVolley Europe New Nations Subzone Men’s Tournament 2018, which starts in Tourcoing, France on Saturday.

The World ParaVolley Sports Department, with the close cooperation of its Referee Commission, the Head of Education of the Classification Commission and the Fédération Française de Volleyball – the hosts of the PVE New Nations Subzone Men’s Tournament 2018, organised the Level 3 Referee Course and Level 1 Classifiers Course in the Léo Lagrange complex.

The participants for the Referees’ course, with Pierre Farmer (CAN) and Janko Plesnik (SLO) as tutors, were:

  • Pierrick Le Balc’h (FRA)
  • Philippe Dauchel (FRA)
  • Stefan Vandenbreeken (FRA)
  • Fariba Ahadi (IRI)
  • Halleh Jafari (IRI)
  • Tomas Buchar (CZE)
  • Jasmin Ramic (CRO)

Theory lessons were also combined with some practical work as the participants helped prepare the court for the weekend’s Sitting Volleyball tournament.

The participants on the Classification Course, led by Innocent Komakech (UGA), were:

  • Sarah Ariss (FRA)
  • Hong Guegen (FRA)
  • Milan Milosevic (CRO)
  • Mattia Pastorelli (ITA)
  • Maiju Marjawaki (FIN)

The participants will now participate and assist during the ParaVolley Europe New Nations Subzone Men’s Tournament 2018 as part of the Course.
