Dr. Hayat Khattab appointed to Egyptian Senate

President of ParaVolley Africa, Dr. Hayat Khattab, was recently appointed to the Egyptian El Sheyoukh by the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

The El Sheyoukh is an Upper House of Parliament like a Senate and has 100 appointed members, of whom only 20 are women, so it is a prestigious position that Dr. Khattab has attained.  The El Sheyoukh is an entity of experienced and professional people from different areas of society in Egypt (women, business, economics, education) and is empowered to advise the President and the government on various matters.
