World ParaVolley has launched a survey to request valuable feedback from athletes, coaches, and team medical personnel that attended classification at any of the 2019 Sitting Volleyball Zonal Championships.

The purpose of the survey is to gain insight into the classification process, and not the sport class rules per se.  The data collected will help the classification team respond to and better serve the needs of the athletes moving forward.

Questions in the survey discuss:

• Classification room environment
• Scheduling
• Information gathering by the classifiers
• Explanation of sport class and status
• Option to protest if you don’t agree with the sport class
• Testing in the classification room
• Notification of sport class and status after observation on court

All member nations have been sent the survey.  World ParaVolley is encouraging all athletes, coaches, and team medical personnel that attended classification at any of the 2019 Sitting Volleyball Zonal Championships to communicate with their Federation for the survey links.

The survey is available in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
